
Biography
Anna Dempsey
Having studied History of Art at the Victoria & Albert Museum and London University, Anna spent seven years in Rome before studying botanical painting at Flatford Mill.
In 1984 she gained a Diploma in Garden Design studying under the well-known landscape designer and author, John Brookes at Denmans Clock Tower.
Since 1985 Anna has created gardens for clients throughout the UK including some amibitious projects such as The Old Rectory Church Eaton, Upper Wiggington House, Knockin Hall and Nanahoron.
Anna's artistic training and her impressive knowledge of plants guarantee that her designs fit their purpose and artistic intent. These include schemes of sculptures produced by Anna and other artists.
Anna has recently completed her degree in Fine Art from the University of Liverpool - specialising in sculpture and photography. Anna is now producing horticultural installations as well as continuing her work as a garden designer.
This year Anna has designed her own range of exclusive garden furniture, to be released for sale in the new year under the new company name of Anna Dempsey Designs.
